No License Needed:
All our vehicles are classified as Power Assisted bicycles under the current Canadian regulations. To classify as power assisted bicycles need 3 basic conditions:
1) Motor must be Maximum 500W
2) Speed range must be 32km/h or less
3) Must be 16 years of age or older
Other Canadian regulations include:
-Driver's should always obey all traffic and local laws.
-Always wears an approved helmet.
-Signal when you turn.
-Stop at the stop sign and traffic lights.
-Do not drink and drive.
-Do not drive on the pedestrian's side walk.
-It is your responsibility to check your local municipality for regulations on a bike path.
-Always watch out the traffic and pedestrians.
-Always be courteous to others on the road.
-Do not try to modify your bike to make it go faster - it is against the law.
